"Let me just say, this little doo-dad is awesome! I have to admit, I was very skeptical at first, but one try of the Gator Bite and all that skeptism was gone. It is very easy to use and makes a perfect crease every time! I have been trying to make bows for the past 10 months and the creasing has been the most difficult for me to grasp. The Gator Bite makes it so easy to have a perfectly creased bow every single time and has helped me speed up my bow making process as well. "Wow! This GATOR-BITE by LAMB is wonderful! I just wish I had this 8 years ago when I started making bows, life would have been much easier then.

Being a bow maker for 8 years now, I know the trick and trades of making bows and how to professionally crease them with such speed now, that the gator bite slows me down in production. But for all those who are just starting out or need help folding the bow (which is the hardest part of making bows) then the GATOR-BITE is for you. It is so easy to use, and the instructions are easy to follow, and the gator is so cute!! It makes perfectly uniform creases and makes the bow professional looking. The gator bite is a handy tool for making perfectly creased bows. It is very helpful for making them look neat and pretty. It does take out a lot of the guess work out of the creasing part. It makes them just like the “cleaner”, at least on the ones I did.
Things that I LOVED about it:

1. The ease in which it did crease the bows
2. The way you could just lay your bow down and lock the jaws and it was secure.
3. If I noticed that one of my loops were not equal I was able to pull on my ribbon to make it even before I tied it off. That was so nice to see it before I had it tied off and then have to remove my center thread.
4. It took so much time off of my bow making because I wasn’t worried about making it perfectly creased, b/c it did all the work for me.
5. How small it was. It didn’t take up a lot of room in my “bow area” that is cluttered with ribbon!
6. It was easy to tie off the bows.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the Gator Bite. I was a little skeptical at first to believe that this could improve my bow making. I have always needle creased my bows because I really like the stability it gives, however, stopping to thread my needle has been slowing me down. I have been trying to find ways to speed up my bow making and the Gator Bite has become my solution. I love the perfect center crease that the Gator Bite creates. I can't believe it comes out perfect every time. It makes a prettier crease than I can make by hand or by needle creasing. The Gator Bite is also extremely simple to use. It only took me about 5-10 minutes to figure it out and I was quickly making bows with beautiful center creases. Another great thing I have found about the Gator Bite is that my bows are not as lop-sided and they often were in the past. When I lay the folded bow on the Gator Bite and close it, I can easily see if one side is bigger than the other and make adjustments before I tie it off. I would definitely recommend the Gator Bite to both new and experienced bow makers.

I would have to say from experience with hair bow instructions these are by far these best! I have ordered two other sets from different people. And they promised many things and never followed though. The Lambs instructions are not that way. Writen very we and easy to use. They took the time to put these together right. For the people who are just starting out they should not have a problem following them!
